It was November the temperature out side was very cold, inside the building the temperature is kept normal by central heating or cooling.
We went to the property dealer office whom my host and guide Mr.Sarfraz had already contacted to hire house for me, and we had to go first see house and the to the property dealer office. we had selected the house and had discussed it. the house was good and I had no objection. There I knew that in china there is a system of prepaid electricity and water as u had to go buy it from bank and the feed the card to the meter to allow the bought amount. When we were at the property dealer office, the office women welcomed us with smile and warmly. she offered us hot water. In China this is very common and it is part of Chinese culture to offer hot water to guest, as tea is offered. It was very cool out side so the hot water worked and I had to appreciate it, and my self became addict to hot water ..as afterward I also kept hot water with me.
The office bearers were polite and very cultured people. the all talked in Chinese .so I had to wait for long time so my guide can translate to me and let me know what they had discussed. some time I think Mr. Wo considered not to tell me .. an I had to wait for long…
At last we reached to an agreement .we signed it,then they took me to police station for registration. The police were very friendly they greeted us with smile and courtesy. After the process was complete I was given a certificate and was also advised that I should apply for visa and then come to report to them which was latter processed by Mr.Bu of CRI..
One interesting incident also occurred in this regard latter when I got visa for one year i.e. resident visa then I had to go to police station but I did not know how to go there so I asked my friend who was a security guard he said wait a minute and took his mobile called some one and told me they are coming ,I did not know how to ask him whom he called but after a few minutes a police van came the police personals came out shook their hands with me then took me to police station and after registration the brought me back to my residence .I was very delighted and can never forget their friendly behavior .....
